Welcome to Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel Literati Book Club. Literati takes the traditional book club idea one step further by collaborating with leading publishers to bring people together to discuss books and novels.
Literati events host a regular stream of authors who lead a discussion of their latest book with hotel residents and external guests.
Literati launched in January 2010 when the first lady of broadcast journalism, Kate Adie, discussed her recent book, Into Danger. Kate was followed by Libby Purves who presented her novel Shadow Child.
Literati at Grosvenor House continues to showcase a broad range of literary luminaries.
Literati is delighted to announce that leading author Franny Moyle will be hosting the next event on Thursday 5th July.

Presenting her new novel, ‘CONSTANCE, The tragic and scandalous life of Mrs Oscar Wilde’, Moyle will discuss the fascinating story of the decadent and thrilling world of Oscar Wilde’s wife Constance. Constance was a popular children’s author, a fashion icon and a leading campaigner for women’s rights.
The event will take place from 6.30pm for a 6.45pm start, with tickets priced at £20 which includes a copy of the book, welcome drinks and canapés.
